In the weeks leading up to a Brooklyn high school’s student/teacher dance competition, one all-female team prepares for a sellout crowd as they juggle college prep, family pressure, and packed schedules. The documentary explores how this Little Haiti community is redefining success in the face of systemic challenges, as told through the voice of modern day youth.

Dancing with the Teachers is currently in post-production and will begin its festival run in Fall 2025.
